I love black mik tea with boba but can’t seem to get it right. I don’t know what type of "Chinese tea" to use and what kind of creamer/milk I am supposed to add to it. Can anyone be more specific about the ingredients I should use? Thank you!
There are many different types of Chinese black tea. Which kind is best? Also, what type of creamer do I use? Should I use condensed milk, evaporated milk, powdered creamer?

i suggest english breakfast tea. because it’s nice and strong. if you have vanilla powder that will be nice and some hot milk.
Hong Kong-style milk tea, often known as dai-pai-dong milk tea, is a beverage originating from Hong Kong. It consists of black tea sweetened with evaporated milk, and is usually part of an afternoon meal in Hong Kong tea culture.
One of the keys to milk tea is the use of evaporated milk and sugar. The boba (bubble tea) originates from Taiwan. The tea or blend of teas used in Hong Kong Milk Tea is any combination of the four Black tealeaves as opposed to green. The four are all from the Camellia senensis family which also is well known for its green, white and oolong leaves. The only difference is in the processing after the leaves are picked. China, India/Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand and even the Rize province on the eastern coast of Turkey produce black teas. The point is that each has it’s own flavor and the right flavor is up to your pallette. There are, of course, also blends of black teas available…again, it’s up to your taste buds to decide which one is right for you. Happy sipping!
