Am harvesting peppermint from my garden. Some plants have got seedheads on top. Can these seedheads be harvested and brewed along with the peppermint leaves to make tea?
My daughter ordered sweetened iced tea in Illinois. The waiter said they did not serve it…only unsweetened. If you put sugar in iced tea, it will not dissolve, and as I do not like those little packs of chemicals (artificial sweeteners), this does not make sense to me. Everybody does not use sweetener. Any ideas on why this is?
Can anyone tell me what sorts of foods are served at a proper high tea? (Recipes please if possible) Also, what (besides cucumber) are the makings of a proper cucmber sandwich? (type of bread, condiments, if any etc.) Thanks so much. I am giving a tea for the senior citizens at my church and I thought an authentic British High Tea would be quite lovely.
Also, what sort of tea would you recommend be served? Is there an "order" to the ways things are served etc.? I am in the US so my tea varieties would not be as extensive as in the UK but I believe I can find quite a few of the more popular types which should be served.
Someone sent me some very high quality loose tea. Package says to "rinse" the leaves, and then reuse up to six times. How can I best (and most simply) make tea?
And, a second "tea" question – I’ve read about "triangular" tea bags that are supposedly superior to the tradition bags – where can I buy these?
I’ve heard that white tea is most packed with health benefits compared with other types of tea. Which variety of white tea is most nutritious? Is it silver needle?
