Mate is usually referred as "mate tea" but I’ve heard we can only call "tea" the drinks made from camellia sinensis. And mate is made from llex paraguariensis.
Is it true?
So is mate tea an actual tea or not?
I’d also be glad if someone could give me the right definition of tea answering whether it’s true that teas are only beverages made from camellia sinensis and nothing else.
I want an opinion from somebody who’s been smoking cigarettes and marijuana. As you know, us pot heads start enjoying different tastes if smoke. So coming from a pro smoker who has tried tea before, how does it taste?
I know when using fruit juices and such, all you need is yeast and sugar. Is it possible 2 brew an alcoholic drink using instant tea? I know the yeast needs something else, all Ive got is a vanilla extract flavouring syrup, would this be possible?

I tried this tea at a yoga class once and it had a very poignant, exotic taste to it. I don’t know all the ingredients that were in it, but it was a bit spicy and there was definitely a taste of ginger and cinnamon there.
