I don’t keep tea bags handy because loose tea makes a much better hot tea. I need to know the portions to make iced tea.
Mr pants, for hot tea I brew it in a clay teapot. First i put 1 teaspoon of tea per cup in the preheated pot. Then add the appropriate amount of boiling water. Allow it to steep for about 4 minutes. Pour through a tea strainer into your cup and add honey and lemon if you wish.
I got a tea kettle for Christmas (I love coffee but need a break from it, so I am branching off). Problem is, I don’t know what tea to buy, where to buy it, or how to brew it properly. Any advice for a beginning tea drinker?
I serve afternoon tea at a very classy hotel. Usually we serve the tea in the tea pot with a bag so that we know no leave will go through to the tea and there won’t be a lot of mess to clean up. Well, I’d like to serve tea loose but lately when I do some of the leaves still get through the strainer and seeing the leaves floating in the guests tea cup looks so unprofessional and unappetizing. What can I do?
Hi, thanks for taking the time. I’d just like to know what brands of black tea or jasmine green tea is strong enough because i use Lipton and it’s no where near strong enough. Does the black tea need to be made with tea leaves or something similar? Oh and this is a secondary question that I’m just curious about; how do the pearl milk tea shops make such strong tea in such a big quantity? That must cost a lot of money. Thanks once again.
In all the 18th or 19th century movies or series I’ve seen, people are always drinking tea. ALWAYS! Plus they say things like "That’s not my cup of TEA" , or "I wouldn’t do that for all the TEA in China." What is this tea they’re drinking? Was there one certain common tea that everyone had?
